Toddler Activity: Collecting Seashells
Always Be Safe! Watch your toddlers closely while doing this activity.
What you will need:
Small plastic container
To get started with this activity, you will need a plastic shovel and a small plastic container. You have to take your toddler to a beach and you will have to choose a great spot where you can look for seashells. Demonstrate to the toddlers how they can find a seashell by digging the sand and make sure you tell them to look for shells without the animal in it. Also, make sure you wash the seashells collected with soapy water to get rid of germs and sand before storing them.
This activity will help to develop finger dexterity and visual interpretation skills in toddlers.
